Capella
Capella is the latest building in the initial phases of development at Atlantic Quay and will be available to occupiers from August 2009. For the latest news regarding the development please view our news page. The building completes the grouping of contemporary buildings between Robertson Street, the Broomielaw and York Street.
Capella is situated in a prominent situation on the east side of York Street and is a dramatic addition to the streetscape with its curved signature return frontage.
The building benefits from a graceful glass curtain wall façade and the spacious double-height entrance height foyer on York Street will lead visitors to four high speed passenger lifts transporting visitors to all levels of the fully air-conditioned accommodation.
Ground floor leisure uses will add to the focal point which Capella will create with outdoor seating areas adding to the ambience.
Individual floorplates within Capella extend from 8,282 sq ft to a typical size of 10,595 sq ft and the accommodation has been designed to ensure maximum flexibility for all modern occupational requirements. Capella will also comply with the most recent energy performance and sustainability legislation.
The upper floors of the building will benefit from an outstanding panorama in all directions across the city and will offer major occupiers a high degree of prominence with the building visible from the main southern approaches to the city and the Kingston Bridge to the west.
